- History

Croma Security Solutions Group plc (AIM:CSSG) was founded by Fernando Fiorentino in 1970 originally as County Locksmiths Security Ltd. While County Locksmiths was a key-cutting and lock specialist, through a series of acquisitions Croma has become a holding company for a collection of security brands.

These brands currently include:

Croma Vigilant (Vigilant) - ex-military guarding services employing over 1,200 security personnel throughout the UK. In London alone, Croma is responsible for guarding assets worth in excess of £3 billion.

Croma Security Systems (Systems) - electronic security solutions particularly to the leisure, education and construction industries.

Croma Locksmiths (Locksmiths) - installation and maintenance of locks, keys, safes, access controls, CCTV, and automatic door operators.

Croma Biometrics (Biometrics) - houses the development costs for FastVein, an advanced biometric scanning system.
