Gateley (Holdings) PLC - The UK’s first listed law firm
Gateley Holdings is a national commercial law firm, which yesterday announced its intention to launch an initial public offering and application for admission of its ordinary shares to trading on AIM. This move will make it the first UK law firm to become a public company.

The legal world has remained relatively unchanged for the past 800 years. It has been a largely closed, self-regulated market where solicitors charge by the minute and barristers wear almost exactly the same outfits as their 19th century predecessors.
