Majestic Wine (AIM:MJW) - the lighter brighter wine retailer starts to deliver
Our latest commentary suggests the specialist wine retailer may be worth following. Recent reports from the high street (or rather just off high street) are also very positive.
The first thing we noticed during a visit to a Majestic in Central London was that the wine was not piled as high as before, so it was possible to see across the shop! This gives a lighter feel and an ability to see more wines at a glance. The signage is also clearer and sharper, both at the ceiling height and where the bottles are presented.
