AIM welcomes an exciting new arrival

At the end of August 2023 there were 786 companies on AIM, with the total market value of London's growth market approximately £81 billion. This compares to 788 companies at the end of July, when AIM’s market value was £86 billion. Litigation funding specialist Burford Capital (AIM:BUR) closed the month as AIM’s largest company. Recent news of a judgement in favour of claimants it has supported against Argentina (yes, that is the country!), has propelled the shares even higher, with the current market capitalisation £2.72 billion.
