The market capitalisation of chip designer Nvidia (US:NVDA) climbed above Amazon to become the fourth most valuable US-listed company. Barrons pointed out that the last time Nvidia was more valuable than the retail giant was in 2002, when both companies were valued at around $6 billion – they have both done rather well since!
