Full year results from a provider of software solutions to the US healthcare sector were the pick of the day as global stock markets took fright on fears of new lockdowns

Augean: surprise Covid impactAugean (LON:AUG), one of the UK's leading specialist waste management businesses, issued interim results to 30 June 2020. While all of the Group’s sites have remained fully operational many parts of the business have been impacted by the pandemic, notably radioactive, biomass Energy from Waste and construction waste activities, which were all placed on hold due to lockdown restrictions. Their North Sea service business has also suffered due to the significant decline in the oil price. Adjusted revenue before landfill tax fell 6% to £41.4m (2019: £44.2m) and adjusted profit before tax was 11% lower at £8.5m.…
