Two pioneering companies supporting the renewable energy arena announced positive developments for their rapidly developing technologies.
Atlantis: tidal turbine progressSIMEC Atlantis Energy (LON:SAE), the sustainable energy generation and technology developer, announced that its Variable Pitch System for Tidal Turbine Generators (‘VPSTTG’) is proceeding to the manufacturing stage. As a result of a €1m grant from the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises to support the development of the project, Atlantis and its partner Spain’s Asturfeito have given the green light to advance their project.
