The turnaround plan for a technology-services provider appears to be delivering, sending the shares soaring off lows. There could be plenty more to go for as we discuss in our update here. Elsewhere, a maker of Christmas crackers unfortunately has little to cheer about over the festive season and a manufacturer of optical components isn’t generating the sort of margins its specialist products warrant. SDI: on the mend SDI Group (AIM:SDI), the buy and build group, focused on companies which manufacture specialist lab equipment and industrial & scientific products and sensors encouraged with its latest interim results. Under the previous CEO this business was probably doing a little too much ‘buying’ and not enough ‘building’, thankfully the balance appears to be improving. For the six months to 31 October 2025 revenues increased by 10.1% to £34.0m, of which organic growth was 3.2% and the remainder from acquisitions.
