At the end of February 2016 there were 1,029 companies on AIM with a total market value of £68.64bn. This compares with 1,031 companies on AIM at the end of January 2016 when the market value was £68.26bn. The readmission was Management Resource Solutions PLC (AIM:MRS), a human capital resource consultancy which, somewhat bizarrely, acquired Bachmann Plant Hire, a bulk earthworks specialist with over 50 years of operating history providing civil construction services in Queensland, Australia.
