Immedia Group plc (AIM: IME) - BT become first customer of the new mobile streaming platform
Immedia Group, a supplier of digital audio content solutions for leading brands and global businesses, is pleased to announce the first customer of their new mobile audio streaming platform. BT Group plc has signed a significant 12 month contract for the supply of an interactive, 24/7 real time digital radio channel to employees in its local network business, Openreach.
The Openreach radio service, branded Reach 365, will be accessible to the 33,000 strong workforce through dashboard mounted mobile devices and will be streamed directly into some of the company’s canteens, offices and telephone exchange buildings. Immedia’s streaming platform, which has been in development for two years, enables large, geographically dispersed companies, such as BT to engage directly with their employees and customers, through dedicated audio content.
