James Halstead: results ahead In a “complicated year”, the ever reliable 100-year old manufacturer of commercial flooring, James Halstead (LON:JHD), delivered very strong full year results, ahead of broker estimates – despite its substantial size (Mkt cap £1 billion+ ) only the joint house brokers cover this stock. For the year ending 30 June, revenue rose 11.6% to £266.4m with profit before tax up 16.9% at £51.3m (margin 19.2%) and both sales and profits are at record levels.
