July 2016 – AIM new arrivals

​With the summer holidays around the corner it was a quiet month for new issues on AIM with 2 genuine new arrivals and 2 re-admissions. It was good to welcome a rare Italian business with SEC S.p.A., a well-established and profitable Italian public relations firm, admitted to AIM in the month. At the end of July 2016 there were 1,010 companies on AIM with the total market value £77.396bn. This compares with 1,013 companies on AIM at the end of June 2016 when the market value was £71.745bn. The FTSE AIM 100 index joined the post Brexit party rising 7.2% in the month with strong performances from some of AIM’s larger companies.
