Powerflute Oyj (AIM: POWR) – trading ahead of initial expectations
The Finnish registered paper and packaging group with Dermot Smurfitt in the Chair continues to roll out positive announcements with yet another one today.
The Group currently has two main activities; Packaging Papers which trades under the name Powerflute and operates a paper mill in Kuopio, Finland; and Coreboard and Cores, which trades under the name Corenso and is a leading international manufacturer of high performance coreboard and cores, with coreboard mills in the United States and Europe and a network of core producing facilities in Europe, North America and China. Today the Group has provided a very positive update on trading during the four months to 30 April 2015 and on the outlook for the remainder of the year ending 31 December 2015.…
