Full year results from Surface Transforms (AIM:SCE), reflect a very challenging period for the maker of carbon fibre reinforced ceramic brake discs and highlight the difficulty of a small manufacturer moving to much larger volumes of commercial production. The Company is the UK's only manufacturer of carbon‐ceramic brake discs, and only one of two mainstream carbon ceramic brake disc companies in the world.
