Britain is in for a great summer of Sport: Wimbledon, The Ashes and The Gfinity 2015 Championships
As football fans poured into Stamford Bridge to watch Chelsea snatch third place in the Premier League this season, around the corner fans of a different ‘sport’ were flocking to the Fulham Imax in order to catch a glimpse of their sporting heroes in action… at video gaming!
Gfinity is the first company to set up a ‘stadium’ dedicated to eSports, and this year the ‘Gfinity Arena’ launched its first ever Gfinity Championships. The fixtures comprise 25 weekly tournaments held in front of hundreds of fans live at the arena. The fixtures are also streamed live on internet TV channels including Twitch, Gfinity.net and MLG.tv.
