Plenty of Founders and Directors selling in February - should we be worried?
It isn’t the first time that the founders of Plus500 (AIM:PLUS), the CFD provider, have cashed in big time (previously at much lower levels..poor souls), but the latest sales come at a time when the European Securities and Markets Authority (‘ESMA’) and UK’s FCA are still reviewing the rules around CFD trading, the outcome of which could impact PLUS’ short term profitability at least. Of all the listed CFD providers PLUS looks most at risk from the regulator given its high customer churn and booming business through crypto-based derivative products, with the latter a stated focus for ESMA.
