In 2001, Andy Walters left his job as Managing Director of tech company Arcom to set up Quartix (QTX) just as the dot.com boom turned to bust. In this interview, he admits that was perhaps a slightly riskier move than he realised at the time. But it was a risk worth taking, now that his once small Cambridge-based company, has transformed into a £122m business with operations in France and the US.
