Now that the UK has sat through all 10,000 hours of Netflix (US: NFLX), there’s a new obsession on the block (quite literally for Gladys who powerwalks with two dumbbells). Sport has taken the country by storm ever since Boris announced: “unlimited outdoor exercise”. At least I think that’s what he said?


Running paths, cycle routes, tennis clubs and golf courses are packed, with companies such as Frasers Group (LON: FRAS) – owner of Sports Direct – and JD Sports (LON: JD.), set to capitalise off our newfound enthusiasm for the respective stash. Indeed, you might have identified many cases of “all the gear and no idea” in your area (if you haven’t, perhaps it is you).
